Love Infographics

As of recent, I have a serious love for infographics.  They are pretty, easy to look at and understand.  Plus, I do not have to force myself to read a long document to find out all sorts of statistics and information only to forget the important parts by the time I finish it.  If any of you are like me, then concentration and memory are not two of your strong points.  That is perfectly fine if you are looking at a well done infographic.  The graphics will aid you in your research and if you forget something you can easily scan the image for the exact stats you were in need of to begin with.

You might be wondering why I am talking about this on a blog about art, well obviously I like to think of infograpics as art.  Those who create infographics are using some form of art, and it is a visually stimulating thing to look at also.  To help give you some insight, I posted an infographic below about what else but infographics!  It reveals why infographics are more superior than typical documents.  Have a look!

You Will Learn…

  • An audience has to interpret what they read in a typical document, while they can experience it through art with an infographic.
  • Infographics are far more engaging than regular written documents
  • More than 60% of the US population learn visually
